Larry has over 25 years of experience in real estate transactions and document preparation, zoning, land use and development, construction contracts, procurement, and public utilities. For the last seven years Larry served as the Deputy City Attorney and First Assistant City Attorney for the City of Denton. Larry’s primary areas of practice are in public utilities, real estate (including eminent domain), land use and development, economic development, and procurement and public contracting. He also serves as city attorney for the city of Annetta North.

Before working primarily on the city side of municipal law, Larry was in private practice representing clients, including local governments, in real estate transactions and disputes (including development, zoning and land use, purchase and sale, and financing); workouts and bankruptcy; construction contracts; commercial leasing; oil and gas leasing and surface use; entity formation, maintenance, and dissolution; and general corporate, employment, and business work. Larry has represented local and out-of-state financial institutions in commercial real estate secured transactions and financing, foreclosures, workouts, and bankruptcy.
